Install and lateral field preset of 38.5" hot wall universal

Valtech built a 38.5" ID hot wall spent catalyst expansion joint for 1025 F and 100 psig design conditions. The duct was 1.25 Cr - 0.5 Mo and the joint had slotted hinges, gimbal pantorgraph, limit rods, thermocouples and 0.75 inch abrasion resistant refractory An engineer then determined the lateral and axial misalignment during the turnaround and preset the expansion joint in place.
