Large Double Gimbal, Tied Elbow and Tied Universal

Four large refractory lined expansion joints shipped to a Southern California refinery. They were 73 inch (1854mm) diameter designed for 50 psig (3.5 barg) at 1450 F (788 C). All cold wall refractory lined. The double gimbal was slotted and designed for large external forces and moments. The tied universal has a perforated metal cover for personnel heat protection. All designs were two ply testable.
