Leaking Joint in Spain Repaired On-Line

The amazing Valtech Engineering field service team was called to Spain to fix a leaking bellows online. The line was running at 1400 F (760 C) and 57 psig (3.9 barg). The customer was able to reduce the line temperature to allow work to be done. A universal 625 LCF clamshell was installed with new tie rods that were outboard of the larger bellows. The entire project took 4 days.
