Valtech Engineering was awarded contract for detailed design and fabrication of new FCC expansion joints for a major gulf coast refiner. The scope of supply includes new regen cat expansion joint, spent cat expansion joint, and cold wall flue gas expansion joints. Additionally, Valtech was contracted for onsite field services for installation supervision and complete expansion joint inspection with condition report. The detailed design engineering and FEA analysis was complete in three weeks after award. The complete job is scheduled to ship 3rd quarter 2020.
